LINE DANCE BOOGIE WOOGIE

My  woman of fifteen years;  walked  out on me today
Said she was  tired of my rough and rowdy  ways
On  Friday night I made my way out of  town
So I headed back into circulation, in  Bobby's Moonlite  Lounge

The  parking lot was full, and the party was on the  rise
Paid that  $10 cover charge, pushed my way  inside
The  music was loud, and dance floor was wall to  wall
Nothing like this growing up in those  Texas Dance  Halls

Chorus
I heard  Boot Scooting Boogie, Rainy Night and a  Achy Breaky Heart
And a  bunch of things I’d never heard, like  country was a world apart
But them  folks were dancing up a storm and that  floor was getting  hot
The  first time doing to the Line Dance  Boogie  Woogie

Well a  cute little thing caught me and  dragged me out on the floor
I grabbed her  arm for a two step and she said we  don’t do that no more
She  pulled me to her side and lined me up with a  bunch of folks to our right
As we did the Line Dance Boogie Woogie for the very  first time that  night

Repeat Chorus
